Traditional batteries
Standard batteries for personal items such as MP3 players, watches, and cameras must be fitted inside the equipment. Any spare batteries should remain sealed in their original retail packaging and be carried either on your person or in your hand baggage.
Small lithium batteries (up to 100Wh)
Small lithium batteries may be carried when fitted to equipment. You may bring up to 20 spare batteries, but they must be kept on your person or in your carry-on bag and secured to prevent short circuits.
Medium lithium batteries (100Wh–160Wh)
Lithium batteries for larger equipment—such as laptops, power drills, or camcorders—typically fall within this range. These are permitted when securely fitted to the equipment.
Only two spare batteries in this category are allowed, and they must be carried on board.
Prohibited batteries
- Large lithium batteries (over 160Wh) are not permitted on Skybus aircraft.
- Damaged batteries of any size are strictly prohibited.
