Pets
Travelling with pets on Skybus.
You can travel with your pet on our ATR72 aircraft with a few important guidelines to ensure their safety and comfort.
Space for pets is limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Before the flight:
- Your pet must travel in an approved crate
- You’ll be responsible for carrying your pet (in its crate) to and from the aircraft
- Pets must remain inside their crate at all times while on the Tarmac or ramp area
At the airport:
All dogs must be muzzled and on leads while in the terminal, both before and after the flight
You may bring two animals from the same household in one crate, provided:
- The combined weight of the pets and the crate does not exceed 23kg
- Both animals have enough space to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably
Contact our Passenger Relations Team who will be happy to guide you through what is expected and how to prepare.
Flights to and from the Isles of Scilly
Dogs are very welcome to travel aboard our Twin Otter aircraft on our Land’s End and Newquay routes only.
If you are travelling with any other type of pet please contact us prior to travel.
Space for pets is limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
At the airport
Please keep your dog on a lead or other suitable restraint at all times in and around the airport, including during boarding and disembarkation.
During the flight
Your pet will travel in safety and comfort in our crate measuring L 750 mm × W 560 mm × H 700 mm.
The crate is suitable for one large dog or two small dogs, with a combined weight of up to 45.3 kg (100 lbs).
When you fly with us our staff are not able to handle pets, you will need to be able to put your pet safely in and out of the travel crate yourself.
Owners are expected to clear up after their pets whilst on airport property and following transport in our animal crates.
