Events in Scilly
Walking Festival,
24th March - 31st March
This island festival was a great success in 2007. A fantastic social event with walks for all including themes such as history, birdwatching, botany, sightseeing, sealife, all for charity. See their website for more details: www.walkscilly.co.uk
Tresco Marathon,
13th April

World Pilot Gig Championships,
2nd - 5th May

Miracle Theatre Company,
24th - 27th July
'Jason'. Outdoor performances at the Chapliancy Gardens on St. Mary's and Tresco Abbey Gardens, 'theatre' productions with a natural difference!
Round the Island Sailing Race,
3rd August
This is an amazing sight to see a multitude of various crafts taking part in this competition, sailing around St. Mary's.
Theatre Set-Up Production,
9th and 10th August
'All's Well That Ends Well'. With performances on St. Mary's and Tresco, this is always great entertainment.
